Role Overview

We are hiring a data and cloud expert responsible for accelerating revenue and deepening executive relationships across Swoop’s accounts by bringing specialized expertise in data, cloud, and identity-driven solutions used in the biopharmaceutical industry.

This role partners directly with existing account leaders and teams to originate, shape, and close complex, data-centric opportunities that traditional agency sellers are not equipped to develop. The overlay seller acts as a deal catalyst—translating business challenges into scalable data and cloud solutions, while elevating Swoop’s overall position from media execution partner to strategic data partner.

What You'll Do

Opportunity Creation & Pipeline Expansion

  • Identify whitespace opportunities in top accounts: audience targeting, cloud partnerships, advanced analytics
  • Originate net-new business and build multi-threaded pipeline across marketing, data, and technology stakeholders

Deal Strategy, Solution Leadership & Executive Engagement

  • Lead complex, data-driven deals from discovery through close; translate client business problems into data architecture solutions
  • Drive deal qualification rigor (budget, ownership, feasibility, timelines)
  • Build credibility with C-suite stakeholders (CMO, CIO, Commercial Head of Data/Analytics)
  • Lead strategic conversations on first-party data strategy, privacy-safe activation, and cloud-enabled marketing transformation
  • Position Swoop as a strategic advisor and partner

Account Team Enablement & Cross-Functional Orchestration

  • Serve as data and cloud quarterback for account teams
  • Co-sell and run internal training to upskill sellers; transfer knowledge rather than create dependency
  • Partner with product, data, partnerships, and delivery teams to align on unified, scalable solutions

Partner Leverage

  • Co-sell with cloud and data partners to increase deal size and credibility

What You'll Bring

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales in cloud, data platforms, or AI/analytics with consistent over-achievement
  • Proven success in biopharma enterprise deals; experience with complex, regulated-industry cycles
  • Experience and success working in innovation forward environments and comfort in ambiguity
  • Strong knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and co-sell motions
  • Ability to engage technical and business stakeholders with exceptional executive presence
  • Experience in digital health, programmatic advertising, or audience targeting preferred; HIPAA/GDPR knowledge a plus
  • Established network in top 15 biopharma companies
