Design and develop transistor-level analog and mixed-signal circuits for CMOS image sensors. Perform block, transistor-level, and whole-chip simulations; create and optimize sensor-array readout layouts using Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre. Collaborate with verification, process, test, and applications teams to debug, characterize, and optimize fabricated image sensors from concept through product release.

Manage semiconductor supply chain planning from new device release through mass production. Coordinate wafer loading, subcontractor schedules, material requirements, inventory, demand forecasting, production flow, and fulfillment across Taiwan and China. Collaborate with engineering, sales, product management, suppliers, and project teams to resolve production issues, improve wafer yields, reduce costs, and meet customer demand.

Characterize and optimize CMOS image sensor performance by bringing up new silicon, validating functionality, developing testing methodologies, analyzing pixel-level and analog/digital subsystems, and identifying improvements. Collaborate with design, process, applications, production, and quality teams to resolve system issues and support product transitions, yield, reliability, and quality goals.

Define CMOS image sensor products for security market requirements across North America and Europe. Manage product promotion to customers and partners, support Sales, develop new markets, define security sensor and system solutions, establish partnership strategies, and promote products to key customers. The role may require limited travel for customer promotion and trade shows.

Assure quality across automotive IC product development, manufacturing, release, servicing, and customer support. Lead quality improvement, Safe Launch, high-voltage stress testing, yield analysis, FMEA, failure analysis, customer complaint investigations, and CAPA. Use semiconductor testing and microscopy tools to identify root causes, coordinate corrective actions with engineering teams, customers, suppliers, package houses, and foundries, and support multi-region camera module manufacturing sites.

Provides administrative support across departments, maintains records and filing systems, coordinates calendars, meetings, and travel, manages communications, prepares reports and business documents, and ensures document control processes are followed and improved. Responsibilities include RTL development, IP integration, clock and reset management, power-aware design, synthesis, DFT, static timing analysis, UVM verification, automation scripting, mixed-signal integration, hardware modeling, chip bring-up, silicon validation, and imaging pipeline optimization. The role collaborates with physical design, analog, firmware, algorithm, and image-quality teams through tape-out and product qualification.

Researches and develops image, color-processing, and computer-vision algorithms for digital camera systems. Expands ISP and computer-vision functionality, quality, and performance; supports hardware implementation and validation; tunes and measures image quality; and documents algorithms. Designs, integrates, validates, and debugs digital ASIC cores and data pipelines for image sensor SoCs. Responsibilities include RTL and microarchitecture design, timing analysis, synthesis, DFT, formal verification, mixed-signal integration, chip bring-up, silicon validation, and hardware/software co-simulation. Collaborates with physical design, analog, digital, algorithm, and application engineering teams on full-chip integration, tapeout, and performance improvements.

Develop advanced CMOS and CIS process modules, collaborating with silicon and color foundries, image characterization, modeling, and pixel design teams. Improve silicon, color, and package processes; support production and design teams in enhancing yield and sensor performance; analyze bench and wafer-level data; and design and manage silicon split lots according to project goals and schedules.
