About Decagon

Decagon is the leading conversational AI platform empowering every brand to deliver concierge customer experiences.

Our technology enables industry-defining enterprises like Avis Budget Group, Block’s Cash App and Square, Chime, Oura Health, and Hunter Douglas to deploy AI agents that power personalized, deeply satisfying interactions across voice, chat, email, SMS, and every other channel.

We’re building a future where customer experiences are being redefined from support tickets and hold music to faster resolutions, richer conversations, and deeper relationships. We’re proud to be backed by world-class investors who share that vision, including a16z, Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, Coatue, and Index Ventures, along with many others.

We’re an in-office company, driven by a shared commitment to excellence and velocity. Our values — Just Get It Done, Invent What Customers Want, Winner’s Mindset, and The Polymath Principle — shape how we work and grow as a team.

About the Team

The growth team is a 0 to 1, high-leverage team within the Founders’ Office bridging sales, marketing, business operations, and engineering. We apply technical frameworks and tooling to inflect revenue growth at Decagon - from building internal product and AI tooling, to leveraging data and analytical rigor to inform prioritization decisions, and everything in between. Our team’s remit is to accelerate deal flow by identifying the most bottlenecked portions of our end-to-end customer lifecycle and fixing those.

About the Role

You will own projects from identifying the pain point and first prototype through production operation and retrospectives on effectiveness. You’ll help architect the shared platforms and workflows that power our end-to-end sales and delivery pipelines and shape the norms of a growth engineering function at a pivotal moment in Decagon’s growth. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring Decagon is able to continue to scale rapidly and successfully in a large, competitive market. Our work is currently concentrated around business operations & strategy, growth marketing data pipelines, account identification and scoring, and internal sales tooling for our GTM team.

In this role, you will

  • Work closely with our sellers, revenue operations, growth marketing, and engineering teams to brainstorm creative solutions to increase pipeline and deal flow

  • Debug business problems end to end: hypothesis, data, vendor evaluation, ship features, then stand up the operating cadence that keeps it alive

  • Set the roadmap for tools, product, or operational rhythms that will best accelerate revenue growth - prioritizing areas of focus and triaging potential solutions

  • Stand up an end-to-end quantitative view of deal pipeline and movement as well as evaluation frameworks that quantitatively prove impact of solutions created

Your background looks something like this

  • Technical foundation: computer science, math, statistics, data science, or similarly quantitative

  • Comfortable combining strategy frameworks with hands-on engineering and a strong metrics mindset - you can identify the thing, build it, and then prove whether it's working

  • Operating experience at an early-stage company, whether it’s product, zero-to-one building, or simply doing whatever needed doing

  • High slope: we don't expect deep industry or tooling experience, we just expect you to pick it up fast

Even better if you have

  • Consulting, technology diligence / investing, or strategy expertise paired with hands-on building experience

  • Exposure to go-to-market systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, Unify)

  • Experience building with LLMs in production or with workflow automation tooling

  • Predictive/propensity modeling or lead scoring experience

  • Growth marketing instincts — opinions on creative demand gen, not just the plumbing

Benefits

We proudly offer the following benefits for our full-time employees:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits for you and your family

  • Life Insurance and Disability Benefits

  • Retirement Plan (e.g., 401K, pension)

  • Parental Leave

  • Fertility and family building benefits through Carrot

  • Monthly stipend to support your wellness, lifestyle, and work-life balance

  • Daily lunches and snacks in the office to keep you at your best

  • Take what you need vacation policy (subject to local requirements; UK employees receive 25 days of statutory leave)

These benefits are described in more detail in Decagon’s policies, may vary by location, and can change at any time according to applicable compensation and benefits plans.
