Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Edwards, AFB.

  • 5/40 schedule, Monday – Friday
  • Position is onsite, unable to accommodate a telecommute/hybrid schedule.

Supports logistics operations by preparing documentation that defines the scope and quantities of spares, tools, test equipment, and manuals to be deployed and stocked; determining maintenance and repair material requirements for deployment; and updating maintenance records, including repair standards for complex equipment and components. Develops requisitions; conducts inventory and maintains records for equipment, components, repair parts, and manuals; tracks materials and parts to ensure proper storage allocation; reviews configuration changes to assess impacts on logistics deployment; documents equipment and component conditions; and identifies required support documentation to sustain the product life cycle. Provides cross-functional support across supply chain disciplines for deployments, logistics, and business operations; performs manual material movement, shipping, receiving, and loading aircraft; handles controlled and classified items in accordance with applicable procedures; and may be required to work independently when deployed.

Basic qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience in logistics support, shipping/receiving, warehousing and/or inventory control.
  • Ability to meet medical and vaccination requirements for worldwide travel.
  • Required to deploy away from the primary work location for up to 90 days within any rolling 12-month period to support business needs with the potential to extend up to 180 days.
  • Must have an Active U.S Government Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification.
  • Must be able to work in an approved environment during specified work hours and will frequently move and position objects weighing 30-50 lbs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
  • Ability to complete Hazardous Materials / Dangerous Goods training and maintain ongoing current certifications for DOT, IATA, and AFMAN24-204
  • Willingness to work overtime, odd‑hour shifts, and weekends to support schedules.

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistic or supply related field
  • Load planning certification
  • Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) certifications
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) certification
  • Experience with Passport, SAP, ASAP, BarCloud systems

Primary Level Salary Range: $26.92 - $44.90

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
