Own go-to-market experiments and revenue growth for Replo Agent. Identify opportunities across free workspaces, new signups, existing customers, affiliates, partners, and enterprise accounts; speak with customers; launch measurable experiments; and scale successful acquisition, conversion, sales, lifecycle, paid, outbound, or partnership channels. The role requires broad execution, strong ownership of revenue outcomes, and comfort operating independently in an SF office.

Overview

Replo does $7M ARR, mostly from our page builder with 5000+ clients.

Replo Agent went into private beta in August. Since then we’ve moved it out of beta and are onboarding hundreds of new brands.

Brands use it to build storefronts and landing pages, run audits on their existing pages, set up A/B tests, and connect Replo’s data into Claude/ChatGPT.

The job

You own experiments that turn into revenue. You pick what to go after, and I mean that literally. If you think the right move is converting some slice of the 34,000 Shopify-connected workspaces on our free product, do that. If you think it's closing $5k/month deals with bigger brands, do that. If you think everything I'm doing is wrong, tell me, and go run the thing you'd do instead. We'll both be looking at the same numbers every week.

What you'd have to work with:

  • 34,000+ workspaces on free plans

  • ~1,700 new signups a month coming into a funnel that was built for the old product

  • a paying customer base that mostly hasn't tried the agent yet

  • a partner/affiliate channel that has hundreds of affiliates

  • a Replo Expert network

You'd also be talking to customers a lot. How much depends on your strategy, but there's no version of this job where you don't. Right now customer calls are where most of our real information comes from.

What we expect

By day 3 you should be finding your own answers. By day 30 you should have experiments live with numbers attached. By day 90 you should have at least one channel you can point at and say: this works, here's the revenue, I'm scaling it.

Who this usually is

The people we think fit best have done one of these:

  • built their own ecommerce brand to $1M+ mostly alone, or ran growth very early at a brand that scaled

  • founded, or was one of the first people at, an agency serving Shopify brands, selling and delivering the work themselves

  • founded a SaaS business and carried it to real revenue alone, or was the first growth hire at a SaaS around our size, recently

  • built GTM systems (Clay, outbound, paid, lifecycle) where the revenue outcome was theirs. Open to other ideas or expertise you might have.

The common thing across all of them: at some point a number was yours, you were genuinely good at one or two crafts (paid, CRO, lifecycle, outbound, sales, partnerships, whatever it was), and you did everything else anyway because there was nobody else to do it.

Comp, location, process

$180-220k salary plus equity. Flat salary, no commission; there may be company-wide incentives on top.

SF, in office. If you'd be relocating, we can do the first couple of months remote with trips to SF while you move. US work authorization required.

Process:

  • a 30-minute call with me

  • a call with Yuxin

  • a deep-dive where you screen-share something you built

  • one more deep dive with Yuxin and Quinn

  • References, then an offer within a few days

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
