Within this ecosystem, the Offers program plays a critical strategic role in driving cardholder engagement, issuer differentiation, and measurable merchant outcomes. The Manager, Offers is a senior product leader responsible for shaping and executing the local Offers strategy, translating global priorities into market-relevant plans, and ensuring strong commercial, consumer, and operational impact.
This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, analytics, partnerships, and execution, with accountability for program performance, roadmap prioritization, and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate combines strong product leadership, data-driven decision-making, and deep understanding of loyalty, retail, and digital ecosystems, operating with high ownership and influencing at senior levels.
Role & Responsibilities
Strategy & Product Leadership• Own the local Offers product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap, ensuring alignment with Mastercard's global vision, issuer priorities, and market needs.• Define success metrics and KPIs across engagement, incremental spend, merchant performance, and issuer value; continuously evolve the program based on insights and outcomes.• Translate market dynamics, consumer behavior, and merchant trends into strategic product priorities, new offer constructs, and category expansion opportunities.
Performance Management & Insights• Oversee program performance analysis, ensuring sophisticated segmentation, trend identification, and actionable insight generation.• Guide the development and evolution of dashboards and reporting frameworks, ensuring executive-ready visibility into performance and drivers.• Synthesize complex data into clear strategic narratives and recommendations for senior leadership, issuers, and internal stakeholders.
Merchant & Partner Ecosystem• Lead the development and prioritization of the merchant pipeline, balancing scale, relevance, and commercial impact across categories.• Partner closely with commercial, marketing services, and account teams to strengthen merchant relationships, optimize offer design, and drive sustainable portfolio growth.• Provide strategic input into merchant negotiations, offer mechanics, and performance expectations, grounded in data and benchmarks.
Delivery, Operations & Collaboration• Oversee end-to-end execution of offers and campaigns, ensuring strong planning, flawless delivery, and continuous optimization.• Act as the primary product interface with technology, data, and external vendors, ensuring platform stability, backlog prioritization, and issue resolution at scale.
Leadership & Influence• Serve as a thought leader and point of reference for Offers within the market, influencing stakeholders across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Technology.• Represent the Offers program in executive forums with confidence, clarity, and a strong strategic point of view.
All About You
Must Have Skills• Proven product management or program leadership experience, with ownership of complex, data-driven products or platforms.• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, including KPI design, segmentation, trend analysis, and performance optimization.• Deep understanding of loyalty programs, consumer incentives, merchant-funded offers, or retail/ecommerce ecosystems.• Ability to translate data into insights, insights into strategy, and strategy into execution.• Excellent executive communication and storytelling skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders.• Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, technology, and analytics teams.• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and large datasets.• Proficiency in English.• Bachelor's degree with 5-8+ years of relevant professional experience.
Nice to Have Skills• Experience within payments, fintech, or financial services ecosystems.• Exposure to issuer partnerships, cardholder engagement strategies, or CRM-driven programs.• Experience managing or mentoring team members.• Background working with external technology or loyalty vendors.• Postgraduate degree or MBA.• Experience with digital platforms, mobile-first consumer journeys, or marketplace models.
