Overview
The Emerging markets Acceptance Manager lead ("EMAML") will define programs and coordinate commercial efforts in LAC to drive growth in the SME/MSME acceptance footprint and increase small merchants card utilization. In addition, as many SME plays are related to wallets, the Manager will be the key coordination point with the Global Acceptance Wallet strategy. This individual will identify, prioritize, and execute acceptance development strategies to elevate SME card adoption with merchants, and micro sellers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Mastercard's Acceptance SME, MSME and micro seller strategy. This position will work both with global and the teams in the market to to support sales enablement objectives through targeted programs. Provide ecosystem subject matter expertise, identifying product opportunities and informing product management priorities. The EMAML will monitor performance of micro merchant program and inform its evolution for the Latin-American region.
- The EMAML Track Acceptance locations growth for each of the markets both via customer reporting systems and transactional data to strategically drive growth and usage. The candidate will shape both executive-level and customer-facing narratives with strong analytic support for acceptance growth, with the experience and the penchant to become a subject matter expert in acceptance for emerging markets understanding the different peculiarities of LAC markets. The position requires to maintain a strong cross-functional working relationships to ensure alignment with global, regional, and market priorities
