We are seeking a Senior
Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in immunohistochemistry (IHC),
histology, and tissue-based assay development to support drug discovery and
preclinical research programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop,
optimize, and validate IHC and CISH assays and antibody reagents.
- Perform
and troubleshoot IHC/histology assays using human and animal
tissues.
- Develop
tissue-based endpoints to support drug discovery, target
identification, and validation.
- Plan
and independently execute experiments, analyze results, troubleshoot
issues, and provide scientific recommendations.
- Identify
and implement improvements to IHC/histology workflows, technologies,
and throughput.
- Collaborate
with internal research teams, CROs, and external partners.
- Present
scientific findings and recommendations to cross-functional and senior
leadership teams.
Required Qualifications
- BS
or MS with relevant experience.
- Strong
hands-on experience with IHC, histology, tissue handling, and
assay/method development.
- Experience
with antibody optimization/validation and assay troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated
experience supporting drug discovery, preclinical research, or target
validation.
- Strong
organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience
with CISH, multiplex IHC, oncology, fibrosis, inflammation, or virology.
- Pharmaceutical,
biotechnology, CRO, or translational research experience.
