About the Role

As a key member of Chime’s Product Marketing team, you will drive strategy, execution, and growth for Chime’s growing portfolio of lending and credit-building products. You will translate member insights, competitive intelligence, and product performance data into strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and engagement across millions of Chime members.

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, market experience, and powerful storytelling. You’ll help shape how millions of members experience credit through simple, transparent, and empowering products—advancing Chime’s mission to unlock financial progress for all.

You’re both strategic and operational: equally comfortable shaping long-term market positioning as you are optimizing in-market performance. You’ll lead with data, empathy, and influence—partnering with cross-functional leaders to define and execute strategies that drive measurable business impact.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $103,680 and up to $180,600. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Operate as category and product expert, consulting to various business and marketing partners to support business and channel strategy
  • Craft compelling positioning and messaging frameworks that speak to consumer and PR audiences.
  • Build, own, and continuously update Product Marketing playbooks and consumer facing toolkits, enabling downstream channel partners
  • Support go-to-market delivery through delivery of Product Marketing playbooks, target audience development, and strategic channel partnership and planning.
  • Monitor social sentiment, conduct consumer research, and competitive market to generate product and campaign insights to drive product and marketing strategy.
  • Partner with product to build long-term product roadmaps through deep audience understanding, driven by consumer research.
  • Drive product awareness and adoption for portfolio products, through partnership with lifecycle marketing
  • Define success metrics, own performance tracking, and use experimentation to optimize adoption, retention, and member satisfaction
  • Collaborate across lifecycle, creative, and analytics teams to ensure a seamless journey across acquisition, onboarding, usage, and retention.

To thrive in this role, you have

  • Minimum of 7+ years leading end-to-end product and performance-driven marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrated experience building and launching consumer-facing banking or technology products.
  • Deep consumer lending experience, preferably at a high-growth, fast-pace consumer consumer technology brand
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Aligning stakeholders and production teams, minding details, organizing materials and leading and aligning team members.
  • Results-driven, with a passion for using data to build marketing campaigns that solve business problems, drive business performance, and resonate with our member base
  • Out-of-the-box, strategic thinker, ready to get creative and take risks building a consumer brand from ground level.
  • A reputation for excellent communications and for bringing cross-functional teams together, working with designers, product managers, compliance, finance, etc.
  • Experience in implementing and optimizing processes to scale product marketing to succeed in a competitive market.
