If you’re ready to do the most ambitious work of your career, join us.
We hire successful builders with founder-like energy who want real impact, accelerated learning, and true ownership. You bring strong role-related expertise and sharp thinking, and you’re motivated by our mission and operating principles. You move fast with good judgment, dig deep with curiosity, and make decisions from first principles, balancing speed and rigor.
You're humble and collaborative; turn zero‑to‑one ideas into real products, and you “get stuff done” end-to-end. You use AI to work smarter and solve problems faster. Here, you’ll tackle complex, high‑visibility problems with exceptional teammates and grow your career as we build the future of global banking. If that sounds like you, let’s build what’s next.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, results-driven Growth team that thrives on strategic, creative campaigns that move the business forward. We value creativity, data-driven decision-making, and a builder’s mindset. Our team is passionate about finding new ways to deliver value to customers and scale Airwallex’s impact globally. We support continuous learning, mentorship, and career growth, and we celebrate diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
What you'll do
You'll own the strategy and execution of growth innovation campaigns and initiatives that drive product adoption, increase gross profit per customer, and activate existing Airwallex customers. Growth Innovation sits at the intersection of product, regional teams, marketing, and data. You'll develop hypothesis-driven campaigns (product adoption initiatives, rewards, promotions, etc), design creative approaches to engage customers, run rapid experiments to test new approaches, and cascade winning campaigns globally while tailoring execution to regional needs.
This role is high-velocity and works with ambiguity: the Growth team is relatively new and evolving, priorities shift frequently as we learn what works, and you'll navigate real-time feedback from regional teams, product partners, and data insights. You'll need to balance global standardization with regional customization, move fast on testing, and communicate findings clearly to inform business decisions.
This role is based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
Generate insights and findings: analyze payments campaign performance, identify patterns in customer behavior to identify pockets of growth.
Design and execute end-to-end growth innovation payments campaigns: develop hypotheses, set up A/B tests, analyze results, iterate, and scale winning campaigns across regions and customer segments.
Partner closely with the Product, Product Marketing and GTM teams on product adoption initiatives: design messaging, incentives, and customer experiences that drive adoption of new or underutilized Airwallex products (focusing on Payments), have a deep understanding of our product, clearly defined USP, and target ICP.
Own payments rewards and incentives strategy: design global rewards frameworks and promotional campaigns that encourage customers to adopt additional products, increase transaction volume, and improve retention.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Lifecycle Marketing, Data Analytics, Sales, and Product and Product Marketing to align campaign timing with product launches, seasonal opportunities, and customer lifecycle milestones.
Work with regional Growth teams across APAC, EMEA, and other regions to adapt global campaigns to local market dynamics, regulatory constraints, and customer preferences while maintaining brand consistency.
Contribute to scaling the Growth Innovation function: as the team grows, shape processes, playbooks, and team dynamics to maintain velocity while improving consistency.
Who you are
We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:
6+ years of experience in growth, with demonstrated expertise in running growth campaigns, A/B testing, and experimentation.
Hands-on experience designing and executing multi-step campaign sequences: hypothesis development, test design, measurement, iteration, and scale.
Strong analytical mindset: comfortable building your own models and dashboards, interpreting data, and making recommendations based on evidence.
Experience working on rewards, incentives, or loyalty programs, or clear aptitude for this type of work.
Ability to balance creativity with rigor: generate new ideas while grounding them in data and testing discipline.
Comfortable in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments where priorities shift and you need to push your own thinking constantly.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence without formal authority.
Preferred qualifications:
1-2 years in a growth role at a high-growth B2B fintech, SaaS, or tech company (Stripe, Ramp, Mercury, Brex, Revolut, etc.).
Experience with product-led growth (PLG) or customer-driven growth initiatives.
Background in strategy consulting (MBB) or top-tier tech company that exposed you to structured problem-solving and data-driven thinking.
Hands-on experience with growth experimentation platforms, analytics tools, and CRM systems.
Familiarity with multi-region growth strategy and ability to navigate regional regulatory or cultural differences.
Experience in payments, fintech, or adjacent verticals is a plus but not required.
