About this role
Are you passionate about technology and sales, and energized by complex customer discussions? In this role as a Technical & Solution Sales Support Specialist, you will be the critical link between our customers' needs and Ericsson's cloud solutions.
You will support the Key Account Manager organization across the full sales cycle - from early engagement and presales through solution design and RFx delivery.
What you will do
- Act as the technical and solution expert supporting KAMs in pre-sales, solution design and delivery of RFx responses for cloud and Telco Cloud opportunities.
- Engage in deep technical customer dialogues, extract and clarify requirements, and translate them into scalable, secure and cost-effective solutions.
- Take ownership for your scope in RFx/tenders: understand requirements thoroughly, design the solution, and deliver high-quality, on-time responses.
- Be solution responsible for cloud products in the GPEC area of responsibility, ensuring technical integrity, feasibility and alignment with Ericsson portfolio strategy.
- Define and support solution and proposal strategies together with Customer Units (CUs) and cross-functional presales and delivery teams.
- Develop and present value propositions, business cases and TCO/ROI analyses that clearly articulate customer value and differentiation versus competitors.
- Lead or contribute to customer workshops, demos and technical deep dives, adapting the communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Share best practices, successful bid content and lessons learned across teams, and provide structured feedback to improve portfolio, processes and tools.
The skills you will bring
- Strong experience in cloud solutions, with significant exposure to Telco Cloud and related technologies. Experience on Telco Private cloud with focus on skills such as Kubernetes , containers, design compute, storage for CNIS/NFVI based systems.
- Proven background in technical presales, solution sales support or solution architecture, ideally within telecom, cloud infrastructure or adjacent industries.
- Demonstrated experience owning and delivering high-quality RFx/RFP responses in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
- Fluent technical English and Spanish.
- Strong understanding of core cloud concepts and Awareness of the competitive landscape in the cloud and Telco Cloud market and typical differentiators.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and structured way to diverse audiences.
- Customer-centric mindset, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
- Collaborative team player who enjoys working across sales, technical and delivery teams in a global environment.
- Enthusiastic, self-driven and comfortable working under time pressure and tight RFx deadlines.
- Passion for continuous learning in evolving cloud, automation and AI technologies.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with automation and AI in a cloud context.
- Python scripting for automation, tooling or demos.
- Exposure to Gen-AI frameworks and how they can be used in presales, solution design or customer engagement.
