About CodeRabbit

CodeRabbit is the leading AI code review platform, trusted by more than 17,000 customers and 150,000 open-source projects, conducting over 2 million code reviews each week. We build the symbiotic partnership between developers and AI that makes shipping fast software safe again, reviewing every pull request, IDE change, and CLI commit so teams can move quickly without breaking things.

We are a fast-moving, well-funded company, fresh off a $143M Series C at a $1.5B valuation — building Agentic Change Management, the control layer for software changes created by humans and agents. As AI writes more of the world's code, the bottleneck moves from implementation to judgment and helping human judgment scale is exactly the problem we exist to solve.

About Vice President, Product Marketing

CodeRabbit helps engineering teams review, understand, govern, and ship code generated by people and agents.

As AI accelerates code creation, the bottleneck is no longer writing code. The new bottleneck is verifying intent, managing risk, and keeping delivery moving.

We're hiring a VP of Product Marketing to define how the market understands CodeRabbit: the context-aware trust layer between AI-generated code and production. You will turn rapid product innovation into clear customer value, durable differentiation, and measurable go-to-market impact.

What you'll do
  • Own positioning, messaging, segmentation, personas, use cases, and differentiation across CodeRabbit's review, governance, security, planning, and agentic developer workflows.

  • Lead the category shift from human-centric code review to comprehensive code governance and Agentic Change Management.

  • Build and lead launches end to end—from customer insight and product framing through packaging, enablement, content, PR, community, adoption, and field follow-through.

  • Translate technical capabilities and evidence into compelling value stories for developers, engineering leaders, security teams, and executive buyers.

  • Equip Sales and Customer Success with demos, talk tracks, competitive guides, PoV materials, executive narratives, ROI frameworks, and objection handling.

  • Establish a rigorous customer-proof engine spanning case studies, evaluations, benchmarks, analyst relations, and credible proof points.

  • Lead competitive intelligence across AI code review, coding agents, security tools, and the broader software-delivery stack.

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Growth, Brand, and Finance on roadmap feedback, packaging, monetization, and tier/usage-value communication.

  • Build a high-velocity PMM operating model for major launches, model releases, and category moments.

  • Hire and develop a high-performing PMM team with technical fluency and strong editorial judgment.

What you bring
  • 10+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, including senior leadership roles.

  • Deep experience in developer tools, AI, security, DevOps, infrastructure, or technical enterprise software.

  • A record of positioning complex products in crowded markets and moving organizations beyond feature-led messaging.

  • Proven launch and enablement leadership that drove measurable adoption, pipeline, retention, expansion, or revenue.

  • Credibility with engineering, security, product, sales, and executive audiences.

  • Experience supporting both product-led growth and enterprise go-to-market motions.

  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and analytical judgment grounded in customer research, product data, and competitive evidence.

  • A builder's mindset: strategic at the company level, hands-on when needed, and adaptable when evidence changes.

What success looks like

CodeRabbit has an evidence-backed category story that makes Agentic Change Management clear, credible, and defensible. Messaging is consistent across product, web, campaigns, sales, and customer success. Launches have clear owners, field readiness, and adoption plans. Sales and Customer Success can carry compelling value stories into PoVs and executive conversations. The market increasingly associates CodeRabbit with high-signal, trustworthy governance of agent-generated code.

Target salary for this role is $320k-$350k, actual salary will be based on candidate skills, experience and location.
