Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer – Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle database technologies, data modeling, performance tuning, ETL processes, and enterprise application development. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to design scalable data solutions, and experience working in Agile environments.
The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of mission-critical applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
- Perform data analysis, data modeling, and database design for enterprise applications.
- Design and implement scalable data APIs and data integration solutions.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and performance monitoring.
- Develop, maintain, and support batch processing jobs using ETL technologies and scheduling tools.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Translate business requirements, use cases, and user stories into technical designs and implementations.
- Participate in application architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Ensure software quality through automated testing, validation, and continuous integration practices.
- Mentor team members and promote engineering best practices across development teams.
- Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and ongoing system enhancements.
- Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in database development and enterprise software engineering.
- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Strong experience in data analysis, data modeling, and database design.
- Expertise in database performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience developing and managing ETL processes and batch jobs.
- Strong understanding of scalable application design principles.
- Experience implementing automated testing for database applications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and software delivery practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 35,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 123,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
