Built In SF released its Future 5 series for Q2. As part of our ongoing Future 5 series, we highlighted five local early-stage startups to keep an eye on. Clockwork, Copia, Grain, Pandia and Posh were our picks for this past quarter. [Built In SF]

Bay Area Tech Quote of the Week

“As permanent employment may not yet be available for most refugees from Ukraine, freelance work is a lifeline for connecting them to income and leveraging their skills, especially in the IT and digital sectors. By actively recruiting talent that has been displaced by the war in Ukraine, companies in the U.S., Europe, and around the world will not only be helping vulnerable people, but also benefiting from displaced professionals’ talent,” — Gideon Maltz, executive director of Tent Partnership for Refugees

Upwork and Tent partnered to support Ukrainian refugees. Upwork, a marketplace for freelance work, and Tent, a network of global businesses supporting refugees, teamed up to connect displaced Ukrainians with remote work opportunities. The Opportunity Unlimited initiative is expected to connect tens of thousands of refugees with skilled remote job positions. [Business Wire]
