Last week was busy for San Francisco tech companies. We saw a slew multi-million dollar funding rounds as well as the announcement of a a multi-billion dollar acquisition. In case you missed it, here is the tech news that circulated in the Bay Area last week. This is the Built In SF weekly refresh. 

HP announced plans to acquire Poly. The headset manufacturer will soon be bought by HP for $1.7 billion, or $40 per share. Including Poly’s debt, the deal is valued at $3.3 billion. [Built in SF] 

Brightlight raised $105M. The virtual mental health platform for children, young adults and their caregivers plans to use its Series C funds to explore possible collaborations and expand its teen and speciality programs for caregivers of autistic children and LGBTQ+ and BIPOC youth. [Built In SF] 

Docker raised $105M. The Palo Alto-based provider of cloud-native application development tools plans to use its new funds to invest in product and go-to-market initiatives. The Series C round was led by Bain Capital Ventures. [GlobeNewswire]

SAN FRANCISCO TECH QUOTE OF THE WEEK

HackerRank raised $60M. The Mountain View-based developer skills company helps businesses attract, evaluate and hire top technical talent. It plans to use its new Series D funds to accelerate technical hiring for highly in-demand roles and skills for its customers around the world. [PR Newswire]

Modern Treasury raised $50M. This is the second close of the company’s Series C round and adds Salesforce Ventures and SVB Capital as Modern Treasury partners. Modern Treasury helps companies move and track money through payment infrastructures. [Modern Treasury]

LambdaTest raised $45M. The test orchestration platform will use its new capital from Premji Invest to enhance existing product capabilities and accelerate global growth. The company also plans to use its funds for hiring efforts across departments. [Built In SF]

In additional funding news: Pixxel, which gathers and analyzes data from its hyperspectral earth imaging satellite constellations, raised $25 million to launch a new constellation for electromagnetic spectrum imaging. [TechCrunch]

Next-generation e-commerce fulfillment platform Airhouse raised $11 million to hire new talent to support scaling its business. [Airhouse]
