Leads MongoDB’s global controllership organization, overseeing accounting operations, technical accounting, SEC reporting, external audits, close and consolidation, SOX controls, international compliance, payroll, and finance transformation. The VP will modernize ERP and reporting systems, implement automation and AI-enabled close tools, establish scalable processes, and develop a distributed global team. The role partners with executive leadership, the Board, Audit Committee, and cross-functional stakeholders while serving as the senior authority on U.S. GAAP.

Performs FP&A activities including financial planning, forecasting, reporting, budgeting, modeling, headcount planning, month-end close, and budget-versus-actuals analysis. Partners with G&A leaders, executives, HR, and recruiting to guide resource allocation, workforce planning, operational efficiency, and strategic decisions. Improves financial processes, automates reporting, and develops analyses and recommendations concerning business performance and spending.

Own end-to-end mergers and acquisitions and strategic investment transactions, including sourcing, valuation, diligence, LOI execution, closing, and integration planning. Partner with senior leadership, Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, HR, Ventures, and other stakeholders. Maintain a pipeline of opportunities, assess strategic fit and market dynamics, and independently drive multiple transactions while escalating high-stakes decisions appropriately.

Own and enhance MongoDB’s Pigment financial planning platform in partnership with IT. Build and maintain models for forecasting, workforce planning, consolidation, and allocations; manage roadmap prioritization, governance, integrations, vendors, documentation, and stakeholder enablement. Improve model performance and usability, evaluate AI and automation opportunities, and translate finance requirements into scalable systems. The role requires strong FP&A expertise, hands-on Pigment administration, project management, and cross-functional communication.
