Leads Gusto’s Risk & Money Services organization, overseeing fraud and payment risk, BSA/AML operational response, Reg E disputes, collections, and consumer money products. Builds governance, controls, SLAs, metrics, audit readiness, and scalable operating procedures while partnering with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, sponsor banks, regulators, and auditors. Owns high-stakes financial decisions, customer experience, regulatory posture, team development, and AI-enabled transformation across Gusto’s financial services portfolio.

Lead treasury operations including liquidity and cash management, liquidity forecasting and modeling, bank relationship management, payment operations (ACH, wires, real-time payments, stablecoins), credit facility evaluation, and operational risk/process improvements. Partner with Payments, Risk, Accounting, Engineering, and external portfolio managers and banks to implement treasury solutions, drive AI-enabled efficiencies, and mentor junior team members while managing cross-functional treasury projects.

Own end-to-end revenue recognition for Gusto Retirement, apply ASC 606 to complex arrangements, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, support period closes and audits, build automation using AI/Python/SQL/Excel, and partner cross-functionally to improve revenue data integrity and processes.

Manage and execute the RIA and BD compliance program: registration and filings, surveillance, testing, advertising review, training, electronic communications monitoring, vendor due diligence, AI governance, exam readiness, and day-to-day program operations supporting SEC and FINRA requirements.
