Develop and maintain Akamai’s custom Linux kernel and distribution for a globally distributed cloud platform. Lead pre-silicon enablement using QEMU, simulation, emulation, and FPGA platforms; manage Linux boot and first-silicon bring-up. Debug complex hardware and kernel issues, establish automated testing, and collaborate with architecture, verification, compiler, and hardware teams.

Build, patch, customize, and test Linux userspace packages for Rocky Linux products. Remediate CVEs, improve package-building automation, develop automated system tests, and support deployments across servers, virtual machines, and cloud infrastructure. Collaborate on architecture, proofs of concept, documentation, capacity planning, and launch reviews while contributing to open-source development and CI/CD practices.
