The Associate General Counsel will lead legal projects, provide regulatory guidance, and manage risk in consumer financial services for the fintech company.

Lead and scale product compliance for fintech lending and payments. Build AI-enabled compliance tooling and governance, embed regulatory requirements into product lifecycle, advise Product/Engineering/Legal/Risk, oversee marketing and partner compliance reviews, and represent Compliance to bank partners and regulators. Drive remediation, preventative controls, and develop a high-performing compliance team.

Lead and own complex commercial transactions for a growth-stage fintech, building playbooks, templates and scalable legal processes. Advise cross-functional teams on partnerships, payments, product and regulatory issues, negotiate strategic deals with banks and partners, and help establish the in-house commercial legal function.
