Performs civil engineering analyses for flood control and drainage projects, including hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, storm drain design, site inspections, technical reporting, mapping, presentations, scheduling, and construction cost estimating. Works with interdisciplinary teams on public- and private-sector projects, using specialized modeling software and GIS/CAD tools. The role requires a civil engineering degree, 0–2 years of experience, E.I.T. certification, a valid driver’s license, and availability to work in the office at least three days weekly.

Develops and leads hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, flood risk analyses, drainage master plans, FEMA studies, pump station evaluations, and climate resilience projects. Builds and calibrates models, manages GIS data, prepares engineering reports and construction documents, conducts field investigations, develops capital improvement recommendations, and coordinates with clients and agencies. Requires California PE licensure, civil engineering education, and extensive water resources experience.
