Designs, prototypes, aligns, tests, and troubleshoots laser spectroscopy and electro-optomechanical systems. Owns optical designs from concept through production, selects components and materials, develops alignment fixtures and manufacturing processes, performs verification and validation testing, analyzes performance data, documents procedures, and supports manufacturing and customers with technical issue resolution.

Build and maintain automated production test environments for embedded Linux instruments. Automate device identification, network boot, disk and filesystem setup, software installation, and test suites.
