Collaborates with producers, editors, directors, photographers, reporters, and audience teams across YouTube, social, web, and other digital platforms.

Coordinates KQED Digital Video productions from pre-production through archiving. Maintains production calendars, trackers, schedules, records, and documentation; coordinates spaces, equipment, freelance crews, vendors, supplies, contracts, rights clearances, deliverables, and production assets. Supports field and on-site production logistics, media management, delivery, and archiving while collaborating with producers, editors, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and external partners. Ensures multiple projects remain organized, documented, and on schedule.

Manage publishing, packaging, optimization, and performance reporting for KQED video content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and owned platforms. Create platform-specific copy, thumbnails, metadata, and promotional assets; monitor analytics; moderate audience engagement; conduct content tests; and provide data-informed recommendations. The role collaborates with audience, brand, content, and digital video teams to improve reach, engagement, and discoverability.

Reports, writes, edits, and produces explanatory and breaking-news stories for radio, podcasts, broadcast, web, mobile, social, video, and newsletters. Develops coverage strategies, edits newsroom guides, consults on editorial standards, mentors colleagues and interns, and works under deadline pressure across departments and platforms.

Own technical product prioritization and roadmaps for KQED’s digital platforms, balancing feature development, infrastructure upgrades, and technical debt. Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to assess system constraints, review APIs, define requirements, manage backlogs, and support Agile sprint planning. Establish product metrics, evaluate system performance, and guide technical trade-offs across web, mobile, content, and personalization systems.

Lead KQED's marketing team to scale brand and performance media across digital and traditional channels. Own strategy, budgeting, measurement, agency relationships, campaign creative direction, and cross-functional collaboration to drive reach, acquisition, engagement, and retention. Build marketing systems, reporting frameworks, and audience journeys while partnering with Product and Audience Intelligence.

Lead strategy, planning, and execution of audio-driven fundraising and third-party programs. Plan and produce radio pledge drives, develop year-round membership promotion calendar for radio and TV, coordinate cross-channel campaigns, manage vendors and staff scheduling, and analyze campaign performance to optimize donor acquisition and revenue. Partner with Programming, Development, Product, and Analytics to align messaging and donor journeys.

Manage planning and execution of on-air fundraising drives and year-round campaigns. Coordinate timelines, vendors, and deliverables; maintain documentation; monitor live drives. Partner with Data & Analytics to run dashboards and post-campaign analysis, translate insights into recommendations, and help shape fundraising strategy.
