Lead and scale OpenRouter’s AI-native Customer Success organization across startups, enterprises, and strategic customers. Own adoption, retention, expansion, customer health, and consumption growth while building AI-powered workflows, scalable lifecycle programs, and customer intelligence systems. Manage Customer Success Managers, develop strategic executive relationships, establish operating frameworks, and partner with Sales, Product, Support, and Forward Deployed Engineering to improve customer outcomes and influence product strategy.

Builds AI agents, automation, workflows, and internal tools to improve support capacity without proportional headcount growth. Owns technical support operations, incident response, escalations, global coverage, enterprise SLAs, performance metrics, and customer experience. Develops Support Engineers, partners with Engineering and Product, and converts recurring issues into automation, documentation, self-service, and product improvements.

The Forward Deployed Engineer will onboard customers, integrate OpenRouter into their systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive adoption of AI inference solutions.

As a Customer Success Manager, you will drive adoption and revenue growth for AI solutions, manage Enterprise accounts, and ensure customer success through strategic execution and relationship management.

Build and evolve OpenRouter’s public REST API, TypeScript and Python SDKs, Agent SDK, CLI, documentation, examples, and starter repositories. Own developer-facing product surfaces, improve API ergonomics and agent compatibility, and collaborate with DevRel, Product, and Platform teams to expand the developer ecosystem. The role requires strong API and SDK design judgment, autonomy, written communication, and experience shipping widely used developer products.

Own the provider marketplace roadmap, including provider tooling, self-serve APIs, onboarding, pricing, prioritization, quality systems, and marketplace incentives. Design and launch auctions, capacity markets, dynamic pricing, service tiers, and diagnostics. Use routing data, request logs, and unit economics to improve liquidity, provider performance, and supply-demand matching while partnering closely with engineering, operations, and provider teams.

Provides technical support for enterprise AI infrastructure customers, debugging code, APIs, logs, and upstream provider issues. Creates reproductions, assesses business impact, coordinates incident resolution, supports account reviews, communicates during outages, documents solutions, and feeds customer insights to Product and Engineering. The role requires 3–5+ years in external-facing B2B SaaS or API support, programming knowledge, observability tools, and SQL proficiency.

The Scaled Support Specialist diagnoses complex technical issues, communicates effectively with developers, and advocates for product improvements while staying current with the LLM ecosystem.

Build and own OpenRouter’s identity platform across authentication, authorization, delegated access, workload identity, enterprise SSO, SCIM provisioning, credential lifecycle, fraud prevention, auditability, and multi-tenant access controls. Design identity models and low-latency services using TypeScript, SQL, and Postgres while partnering with Trust & Safety, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and other teams on enterprise security and onboarding.

Build and own OpenRouter’s financial infrastructure, including flexible pricing, quote-to-cash automation, usage metering, billing, payments, collections, double-entry ledgering, provider settlements, and reconciliation. Ensure financial correctness through idempotency, auditability, anomaly detection, and access controls. Partner with Provider, Trust & Safety, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to deliver scalable usage-based financial systems.
