Lead Ulysses brand and demand generation: craft visual and written storytelling, run weekly content and press, build website and collateral, create merch and social presence, drive talent pipelines and sales meetings, and measure outcomes to iterate.

Design, prototype, and validate mechanical subsystems for autonomous surface and subsea vehicles (pressure housings, seals, thruster assemblies). Integrate sensors and actuators with electronics, lead lab and ocean testing, troubleshoot field issues, and iterate designs from CAD to deployed hardware. Work hands-on in fabrication and travel internationally for testing.

Design and deliver low-cost, production-ready underwater acoustic sensors (DVL, MBES, Side Scan, USBL). Own hardware and algorithms end-to-end: signal processing, transducer and analog front-end tradeoffs, embedded firmware, calibration, production test, and field trials to validate performance and reliability.

Lead end-to-end development of underwater acoustic payloads and algorithms (DVL, MBES, Side Scan, USBL). Own signal processing, hardware/firmware/software integration, production scale-up, testing/sea trials, and mentor the acoustics team to deliver manufacturable, reliable sonar products.

Lead and build the full recruiting function: define roles, source and close technical talent across hardware and software disciplines, implement scalable recruiting systems, manage candidate experience and offers, advise leadership on hiring and market insights, and amplify employer brand for ocean robotics hires.

Work directly with the co-founder to drive outbound prospecting, book qualified meetings, prepare briefings, write proposals and customer materials, manage CRM and pipeline, research verticals and buying committees, support demo logistics and conferences, and draft outreach sequences. This is a hands-on sales role owning deals from day one across defense and commercial customers.

Design, prototype, and produce embedded electronics for autonomous surface and subsea robots. Own schematics, PCB layout, firmware bring-up, power systems, mixed-protocol integration, testing, field reliability, and manufacturing handoffs including DFM/DFT and test fixtures.
