Support the General Counsel by providing legal advice on client matters, contracts, subpoenas, leases, IP, employment issues, and litigation. Manage contract/legal team workstreams, oversee outside counsel, ensure compliance, and handle other assigned legal projects across multiple offices.

Manage tax and audit engagements with minimal supervision, perform engagement reviews, supervise and mentor staff, conduct research and client-facing work, strengthen client relationships, improve team profitability, and work toward obtaining a CPA license. May support evening/weekend work and domestic travel as needed.

Lead and advise affordable housing developers on LIHTC transactions (9% and 4%) from feasibility through closing. Provide financial modeling, application and allocation strategy, client and stakeholder management, agency interactions, and mentorship of staff. Manage complex capital stacks, underwriting review, awards, and post-award activities including 8609 issuance.
