The role requires enterprise security or IT infrastructure sales experience, channel-led selling, startup experience, expansion deal expertise, and MEDDIC knowledge.

The Regional Sales Manager will sell Cribl’s telemetry platform to digital-native startups in the San Francisco Bay Area. Responsibilities include developing strategic account plans, generating and closing new business, managing the full sales cycle, building executive relationships, educating customers, creating territory demand, forecasting, and meeting sales targets. The role requires security and IT sales experience, complex sales expertise, channel-led selling, startup experience, and familiarity with MEDDIC.

As a Sales Engineer at Cribl, you'll help customers understand the product's value, conduct demos, support proof of concepts, and document use cases, all while traveling up to 30% and working remotely.

Develop and maintain software integrations connecting Cribl’s stream processing engine with systems such as Splunk, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and cloud storage platforms. Research third-party technologies, build robust Node.js and TypeScript code, create automated and integration tests, and collaborate with engineering, product, design, and business teams. Participate in code reviews, documentation, customer support, and a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Manage global corporate tax compliance, tax provision under ASC 740, tax filings, sales and use tax, tax accounting close processes, R&D credits, international tax matters, and IPO readiness. The role also leads tax controls and develops AI-driven workflows, automations, and system integrations for tax reporting and compliance while partnering cross-functionally across the business.

Build, productionize, and operate AI-driven features and integrations across frontend, backend, and model layers. Prototype and deliver agent-driven experiences (conversational interfaces, RAG, tool-calling), integrate LLMs and external data sources, and collaborate with product and design. Participate in on-call/standby duties.

Design, prototype, and productionize Generative AI and LLM features across backend and frontend. Integrate ML models, fine-tune, perform prompt engineering, operate inference platforms, and support AI-based product launches while participating in on-call duties.

Supports enterprise customers throughout the sales process by demonstrating Cribl, answering technical questions, supporting proof-of-concept sessions, and translating customer data challenges into solutions. The role requires experience with logs, metrics, IT operations, and security, along with a sales engineering, professional services, or support background. It is remote-first, based in Seattle or Portland, and involves up to 30% travel.

Architect and build AI-powered SOC capabilities for post-detection workflows, including autonomous triage, multi-agent investigations, contextual enrichment, evidence synthesis, and automated response. Develop production-grade LLM systems, agent frameworks, integrations, and safe execution controls. Lead ambiguous initiatives, establish reliability and performance standards, guide engineers, and collaborate with product and security teams. The role is fully remote but includes standby, on-call, or off-hours duties.
