Own and grow enterprise relationships with AI startups in the Bay Area ecosystem. Translate technical AI and cloud capabilities into compelling customer value, strengthen the corporate narrative, and support pipeline growth through messaging, training, content, and go-to-market programs.

Create and deliver high-quality technical content for executives and developer audiences: conference talks, decks, social technical content, demos, workshops, and Bay Area community programming. Partner with leaders to translate product narratives into credible technical stories and run hands-on campaigns for AI-native customers.

Lead and define technical evangelism at DigitalOcean: set standards and priorities, produce and deliver technical talks and executive content, create deep AI-focused technical assets and campaigns, and mentor other evangelists. Split time between presenting on stage and building hands-on demos, labs, and social technical content to engage AI builders and infrastructure teams.

Counsel DigitalOcean on datacenter and infrastructure transactions, including leasing, colocation, design/build, operations and maintenance, and procurement agreements for compute and power equipment. Negotiate contracts, advise on risk allocation and supplier performance, support international expansion, collaborate with procurement, engineering, finance, tax, and compliance teams, and create scalable contracting tools such as templates, playbooks, and approval matrices.

Advise Talent Acquisition and People Business Partners on compensation offers, maintain global market benchmarks and salary ranges, build financial models, analyze pay equity, and manage annual and mid-year compensation cycles. The role evaluates job profiles against market data, monitors technology compensation trends and regulatory requirements, and supports compliant, competitive total rewards programs across international locations.

The Director of Strategy will lead growth initiatives and business operations at DigitalOcean, translating corporate vision into actionable plans. Responsibilities include executing strategic projects, conducting competitive intelligence, and supporting due diligence for corporate strategies. Key metrics include project execution rates and effectiveness of strategic recommendations.

Lead global sourcing, selection, and procurement of datacenter space and power. Own end-to-end deal execution (RFPs, MSAs, SLAs, leases), negotiate multimillion-dollar contracts, manage vendor relationships, build TCO/financial models, collaborate with Legal and Operations, and monitor datacenter and energy market trends to inform site strategy.
