Supports supplier industrialization and manufacturing quality initiatives for drone production. Apply Lean, SPC, PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, and supplier scorecards while supporting should-cost modeling and negotiations. The in-person role is based in South San Francisco and requires substantial travel to partners in Asia and North America.

Own end-to-end mechanical and electromechanical subsystem development for autonomous drone ground systems, from requirements and concept design through verification, production ramp, and sustaining engineering. Responsibilities include CAD, detailed drawings, structural analysis, mechanisms, supplier qualification, DFM, testing, reliability improvement, root-cause investigations, and cross-functional collaboration. The role also mentors engineers and periodically travels to customers and suppliers.
