Design and build growth-focused systems to drive customer acquisition, onboarding, activation, referrals, and retention. Implement attribution, experimentation, referral, promo, and lifecycle messaging infrastructure; analyze funnel performance; partner with marketing and operations; and rapidly launch experiments using analytics and AI-assisted workflows.

Design, build, and execute mechanical test rigs, fixtures, and automated cycle systems to validate aircraft structures and mechanisms. Lead end-to-end validation campaigns, develop verification plans, perform data analysis and failure investigations, and work with design, manufacturing, and suppliers to drive corrective actions and release recommendations.

Lead electrical design and development for drone charging and docking infrastructure from concept to production. Own schematic capture, PCB layout, power electronics, MCU and high-speed communications design. Drive trade studies, validation, production readiness, and field troubleshooting while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Support supplier visits, deployments, and field validation.

Lead the development of Zipline's data platform for autonomy, ensuring reliable operation and effective data logging, processing, and ML training.

Lead structural analysis and own the Global Finite Element Model (GFEM). Produce rapid hand calculations and lightweight FEMs, perform static/dynamic/stability and damage-tolerance analyses, support certification and testing, define instrumentation and correlate tests, lead failure investigations and corrective actions, mentor contributors, and support flight-test and field remediation to improve fleet reliability, mass, and cost-per-delivery metrics.

Own design, implementation, validation, and lifecycle of embedded middleware services for autonomous aircraft. Build and maintain IPC, OTA, logging, observability, and service-lifecycle interfaces on embedded Linux. Deliver production Rust/C++ code, lead cross-service architecture, debug across software/hardware boundaries, and establish safe, diagnosable engineering practices.

Own electrical subsystem design for Zipline's long-range fixed-wing drone from requirements through production and field support. Responsibilities include architecture, schematic capture, PCB layout, validation, trade studies, manufacturing readiness, certification support, and cross-functional collaboration. Develop hardware in areas like microprocessors, high-speed communications, GNSS, BLDC motor drives, power/battery/BMS, and support field troubleshooting and supplier/manufacturer visits.

Own supplier industrialization and performance for PCBAs, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and connectors for the Long Range Platform. Define and enforce qualification, inspection, control plans, and manufacturing/test processes. Lead supplier selection, audits, root-cause investigations (8D, PFMEA, SPC), and corrective actions. Partner with Design Engineering on DFM/DFT, manage multiple supplier projects, and perform onsite onboarding, qualification builds, failure investigations, and continuous improvement to achieve flight-ready, reliable production.
