Own enterprise IAM strategy, governance, engineering, and operations for identity lifecycle management. Lead IAM Operations and Engineering teams, modernize SailPoint IdentityIQ to Identity Security Cloud, automate joiner-mover-leaver workflows, and integrate hundreds of applications. Partner with application owners and Information Security on data standardization, testing, provisioning, and deployment. Drive RBAC/ABAC, entitlement rationalization, segregation of duties, directory modernization, ITIL adherence, automation, and measurable risk reduction.

Provides hands-on technical leadership for complex software architecture, design, development, modernization, and delivery. Partners across engineering, product, and architecture teams; mentors engineers; reviews designs and code; guides distributed, event-driven, cloud-native solutions; and promotes testing, CI/CD, observability, security, and operational excellence. The role remains an individual contributor while influencing technical decisions, managing dependencies, solving ambiguous problems, and evaluating emerging Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities.

Architect, build, and deploy production-grade AI/ML platforms and LLM/RAG solutions. Lead system design, CI/CD and Terraform-based IaC, ensure reliability and monitoring, mentor engineers, run incident response, and prototype emerging AI technologies.

Design and lead development of a high-performance, multi-cloud AI platform and context layer for agentic workflows. Own the data lakehouse roadmap, context retrieval infrastructure, agent orchestration interfaces, MCP interoperability, HITL safeguards, and AI-native operational capabilities. Establish engineering standards, CI/CD, GitOps, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and cloud governance practices while guiding architecture decisions across teams and optimizing performance, security, and cost.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and backend applications, public REST APIs, automated testing frameworks, and cloud-native services. Improve scalability, stability, monitoring, auto-scaling, CI/CD, security, and reliability. Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, document root causes and operational procedures, and collaborate with distributed engineering teams to deliver fleet-management platforms.

Manage merchant and POS vendor certification lifecycles from initiation through production release. Create and troubleshoot technical test scripts, configure payment test environments, establish secure connectivity, query SQL databases, validate transaction data, support post-launch stabilization, resolve authorization and terminal issues, and ensure compliance with payment interface specifications. Lead stakeholder meetings and identify opportunities for AI-assisted diagnostics and process automation.

Drive partner activation and transaction volume for Tech/SaaS and AP automation partners by serving as an embedded payments SME, coaching partner sales teams, co-selling on complex deals, and translating integration and financial concepts into clear customer value propositions.

The Principal AI/ML Engineer will lead the development of AI/ML platforms, drive technology architecture, ensure quality and integration, and provide strategic leadership while managing a team of engineers.
