Define multi-quarter technical direction for storage, streaming, compute, observability, and performance tooling. Establish standards for schemas, migrations, SLOs, tenancy, retention, and capacity planning; lead major distributed-systems initiatives and production investigations; make technology and cost decisions; and mentor engineers across teams.
