Responsibilities include setting technical vision, managing engineers, guiding design documentation and verification, ensuring FDA-compliant development processes, coordinating manufacturing and quality transfers, managing budgets and staffing, and presenting technical risks and progress to senior leadership. Requires deep mechanical product design expertise, people management, concept-to-production experience, CAD proficiency, and experience designing regulated medical products.
