Own the architecture, design, scaling, automation, and operation of Lambda’s large-scale AI cloud network. Lead cross-functional networking projects, produce technical designs and RFCs, resolve complex production issues, integrate hardware and software, improve observability and self-healing, mentor engineers, guide technical strategy, and participate in on-call operations.

Own electrical design standards and reference architectures for low-voltage power systems supporting high-density AI data centers. Lead designs from transformer secondary through rack-level distribution, perform electrical studies, develop technical documentation, evaluate designs, coordinate with facilities and engineering teams, and support equipment selection, testing, construction, commissioning, and failure investigations. The role requires office presence in San Francisco or San Jose four days per week and travel to project sites and partner facilities as needed.

Lead network capacity automation strategy and delivery for Lambda’s AI cloud infrastructure. Build and manage engineering teams, automate capacity planning and lifecycle processes, ensure network capacity stays ahead of demand, and establish strong operational and engineering practices. Partner with interconnect, infrastructure, supply chain, data center operations, product, finance, technical leadership, customers, and partners to deliver scalable connectivity and long-term capacity roadmaps.

Own the multi-year technical strategy and standards for Lambda’s large-scale cloud network, spanning fabric, backbone, and edge. Lead network architecture, production implementation, operations, automation, distributed networking services, and customer-critical projects. Resolve cross-functional technical challenges, optimize availability and performance, mentor engineers, participate in on-call operations, and influence the product roadmap. The role requires deep expertise in datacenter, cloud, internet, Linux, software-defined networking, network automation, monitoring, and multiple network hardware vendors.

Own product management for Lambda’s compute, storage, and networking infrastructure. Define product strategy, roadmaps, pricing, packaging, launch criteria, and customer commitments. Integrate NVIDIA technologies and translate GPU platform generations into commercial products.
