Design, develop, and own component-to-system-level test strategies for energy storage products. Own simulation workflows, validation against prototype and factory test data, translate requirements into analysis plans, and collaborate across battery, electrical, chemical, systems, and reliability engineering to drive design decisions and production support.

Develop and execute vibration, shock, and seismic qualification tests for battery systems; design fixtures and perform modal analysis; instrument with accelerometers/strain gauges; collect and process data in Python/MATLAB; generate technical reports and collaborate with design teams. Support lab improvements and travel up to 20% for external testing.

Lead commissioning, operation, and validation of major pack-level test assets. Own test planning, execution, RCA, data analysis, reporting, cross-functional alignment, and mentoring to validate BMS, harnesses, sensors, actuators, and full-system integration.

Lead structural analysis using Ansys FEA and hand calculations for utility-scale energy storage hardware. Define analysis methodology and pass/fail criteria, create calculation tools, validate designs through testing and FEA correlation, perform failure root-cause analysis, and collaborate with designers to optimize for manufacturability, cost, weight, and reliability.
