The Staff Software Engineer will architect and manage Poshmark's Android app, collaborate with teams, write and review high-quality code, and drive feature development.

Build, operate, and independently own scalable backend services for a high-traffic marketplace. Responsibilities include designing APIs, data models, asynchronous workflows, and distributed-system integrations; troubleshooting production issues; improving observability, reliability, performance, and operational readiness; participating in design and code reviews; collaborating cross-functionally; supporting on-call operations; and mentoring junior engineers.

Owns Poshmark’s US BSA/AML and financial crimes compliance program, including policy governance, risk assessments, sanctions controls, SAR oversight, audit and regulatory exam readiness, executive reporting, training, vendor governance, and operational quality. Partners with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, Risk Strategy, banking partners, auditors, and regulators to translate requirements into controls, workflows, and scalable compliance processes.

Lead hands-on execution and optimization of Google Search and Shopping campaigns, including trafficking, QA, bidding, feed management, testing, reporting, attribution, and performance measurement. Manage campaign operations across budgets, keywords, audiences, and creative while translating data into recommendations. Directly manage and develop one Analyst, partner with the Paid Search Director, and collaborate with creative, product, data, and growth teams. Champion automation and AI tools to improve efficiency and scale.

Lead and scale Poshmark’s product design organization, set design vision and strategy for buyer and seller experiences, drive AI-enabled design workflows, partner cross-functionally to deliver marketplace and social commerce features, and mentor design managers and individual contributors.
